STEPHEN SPOLJARIC

CHAIRMAN

Stephen “Spo” Spoljaric is the Corporate Manager of Global Logistics for Bechtel. His leadership and forward-thinking ideas focus on collaboration and an Engineered Logistics™ approach to increasing predictability and improving safety. Before his current posting, Spoljaric completed a role as an area operations manager on a petro-chemicals giga-project in Pennsylvania. There, he was responsible for managing the union labor to support material distribution in support of construction.

DIANA DAVILA

PRESIDENT

Diana Davila brings over two decades of experience in project cargo logistics services and export operations management support. Within her career, she has held positions of increasing responsibility with a major project logistics organization, most recently as the firm’s Vice President for Project Operations. She is the founder of the newly formed Women in Logistics Leadership Group. She is on the Lonestar Logistics Advisory Committee, Treasurer of the UH Supply Chain Industry Advisory Board, PHPME committee member and eagerly looks for other opportunities within the community where she can serve to further the growth of individuals in their career.

JESUS MEJIAS

VICE PRESIDENT

Jesus Mejias brings over 27 years of extensive expertise in Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing, and Supply Chain Operations. He embarked on his career journey in 1996 with United Airlines, where he gained valuable experience in operations. Presently, he serves as the leader of the Corporate Logistics & Trade Compliance Team at Kiewit Corporation. Jesus holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Nueva Esparta University (Venezuela) and an MBA from FIU in Florida.

JOHN AMOS

SECRETARY & TREASURER

John Amos is an international logistics and transportation consultant specializing in planning, operations and regulatory issues. His experience encompasses the fields of ocean, air and surface transportation. For more than 40 years he held international and North American positions in the fields of logistics, procurement and construction management. Amos was employed by Bechtel Corp. for more than 26 years and in his last position was global head of transportation and logistics functions.

TANIA SMITH

DIRECTOR OF COMMITTEES

Tania Smith,  Logistics Manager for Freeport-McMoran . She has been in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management industry for over 20 years. Her career started with FLUOR in Chile and continued in the United States. She has worked several projects across the world. She is actively involved in Mentorship programs through work, Women in Logistics Leadership group and ECMC related activities. Tania holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of La Serena, Chile.
